tip

You can keep in mind to:

  • Stay as abstract as possible in the schema definition
  • Make sure the implementing side supports any contribution validating the schema
  • Automate what you can
  • Limit the API calls
  • .. and more

In addition to integrating PlayMakers into your existing workflow, you can use the PlayMakers API to develop custom applications, bots, or other integrations with third-party platforms like Discord or Slack. The API provides access to features like UGC submissions, voting mechanisms, schema validation, and real-time feedback, making it easy to extend your game's capabilities. Whether you're building a companion app or automating in-game content curation, PlayMakers' flexible API can help streamline processes and create powerful tools.

We've already built our own bot application to showcase these possibilities. You can learn more about it in the Discord Bot Features section of the documentation. With our API and detailed documentation, developers can get started quickly and efficiently.
