Deploy Makers hub

Not Released

PlayMakers is not currently released for productive usage. The material below is a preview reference.

Please contact us to get started.

Now that the schemas are setup, they can be open for contributions. The next step is to deploy the Makers Hub, to allow users to learn about the creative possibilities available and submit their work.

This interface can either be:

  • Hosted for you by PlayMakers as a standalone website
  • Hosted for you by PlayMakers and integrated within your product
  • Integrated directly in your product using some of our templates
  • Fully customized in your solution with the help of our SDKs (Node, Unity, and more)

Hosted for you

The simplest approach is to let us host the Makers Hub for you. You will find within the Studio Dashboard a tab to customize your Makers Hub.

Such custom functionalities personalize:

  • The theming:
    • colour (dark/light mode, shades,...), font of the text, corner radiuses,...
  • The activation/deactivation of a few features (shop,carousel,social)
  • Other features that are yet to be implemented
note

By default, your Makers Hub will be available on https://project-name.hub.playmakers.co.

info

In a future update, there will be a possibility to use your own domain name.

We offer a version of the Hub for standard web browsing. However, you might wish to integrate the hosted Hub within your product. Technically, this is something that can be done with an iframe, an instance of chromium, or anything that your environment might provide. Design-wise, different needs might occur, and we will therefore provide some flexibility in the user experience of the Makers Hub (to fit a more playful interface for example).

Using templates

caution

Not available at this time, we will provide snippets/templates for you to take and customize.

This way, you can directly integrate some pieces of the Makers Hub in your current product, may it be web-based or not. More in the Developer section.

Using SDKs

We can note that SDK for game engines like Unity and Node are planned to ease the integration in the future. More in the Developer section.
